Angela's Story
Angela's healing journey began more than 20 years ago with a 10-year stint as an Orange County, FL firefighter, EMT, and engineer. Although she loved her work saving lives, the extreme work conditions and stress led to health problems that forced her to reconsider her chosen career path. After moving to New York City, she experienced Qigong's healing potential first-hand through meeting her spiritual teacher, Grand Master Lu, at a Dragon's Way Qigong class, and has been on a path of spiritual discovery and wellness ever since. Her passion for Chinese medicine and Qigong eventually led her to become certified through Grand Master Lu's trainings as a Medical Qigong practitioner and Dragon's Way Qigong instructor, and she has played a key role in TCM World Foundation's operations for over a decade as a Technical Specialist and "Ms. Fix-It."

From Angela: "I have a diverse employment history that speaks of my personality and passion. From the Firefighter/EMS field to alternative medicine with TCM World Foundation, my passion is connecting with people. I became a Firefighter because I wanted to help people. I learned that I must help myself to truly help anyone else. I have been cultivating myself by practicing Wu Ming Qigong under Grand Master Nan Lu for over ten years. I hope to help anyone who suffers from burnout, trauma, or LGBTQIA2S+ challenges and hopefully guide them towards understanding how these experiences led them to their true purpose in life and personal growth."
